VCP

You must be voted in by ballot to become a member of the VCP.

The ballot committee consists of:
Rob van den Idsert, producer at Hazazah film & photography
Clarisse Venekamp, producer at Cake film
Marie-Lou Florisson, director of VCP.

The admission requirements for membershipa are:

a. The candidate member needs to have been listed for a reasonable period in the
Commercial Register of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. An exract from the commercial register must be submitted together with the membership application.

b. The candidate member needs to have produced no less than ten seperate commercials during the two years preceding the day of recommendation.

c. Upon request of the ballot committee, the candidate member must submit its annual report and accounts.

d. After having submitted the required documents, the candidate member must be prepared to respond to any questions pertaining to these from the ballot committee.

e. The candidate member shall provide the ballot committee with the opportunity to visit their office.

f. The ballot committee has the right to request references.

g. The ballot committee has the rigth to ask the candidate member to submit references stating the relevant productions.

h. The ballot committee shall be at liberty to discuss objections against the applications of the candidate member, without having to state the person lodging said objections.

i. The ballot committee presents the candidate member to the executive committee of the VCP. The executive committee of the VCP shall inform its members of the request for membership by the new candidate member. The members shall have the opportunity to file objections, with inclusion of arguments, against the admission of the candidate member with the executive committee of the VCP in conjunction with the ballot committee shall decide whether these arguments are sufficiently persuasive to admit the candidate member to the association or to reject his application.

j. The ballot committee consists of three people, i.e. a member of the VCP executive committee, a member and the director. The VCP committee member and the VCP member are annually appointed by the VCP members at the General Membership Meeting.
